Release of
Musique Barbare
To celebrate the release of their new opus, Anonymus and the boorish uncle
cordially invite the public to two release events where the Boréale (our
proud sponsor) beer will be flowing:
Monday, November 17, 5pm to 7pm
Café Campus, Montreal
Tuesday, November 18, 5pm to 7pm
Bar le Scanner, Quebec
This is the ideal occasion to buy the new CD (or any other Mononc' and/or Anonymus CD), chat with the musicians, buy yourself a beer or 6 (no free beer, it is a low budget release party) and probably even some drugs (with the number of slackers that listen to us, it would not be surprising to find some onsite). There is no cover charge and the evening will include a short
performance.
An enlightening video clip for an even more enlightening song entitled “Pas pire” will be released in a few weeks. Stay on the look out!
As for shows, an extravagant tour will dumbfound all the metalheads of Quebec this holiday season. The fantastical French band, Tagada Jones, will be opening for us during these absurd evenings. More modest concerts will take place in early December (but without the brave members of Tagada) giving us the chance to practice in order to be the least bad possible for the holiday shows. And finally, by invitation from the same Tagada Jones, we will be heading to France in February 2009. For more details on upcoming shows, check out the Concerts section.

Musique Barbare
Five years after their first album, l'Académie du massacre, Mononc’ Serge and Anonymus unite again for Musique barbare, scheduled for a November release. What's to expect? Brutality and hilarity. Musique barbare will only include new songs, no covers from past Mononc’ Serge records. The recording will take place in September. The songs to appear on the album are still not decided, hoping to accumulate tasteless masterpieces until the last minute. But we are not worried, it's going to be disgusting, crazy, fucked-up, sick, it's going to be a big success and fans will download it more than often!!!!
A tour is scheduled for December's Holiday season with the French band Tagada Jones. Much more details about the CD launch and the tour to come! Stay tuned & see ya!
