Finally, after some years of discontinuity, the first two albums of Anonymus were reissued and are now available in store since February 19th, 2008. Ni vu, ni connu, Anonymus first album, has been remastered by Jef Fortin in his Badass studios and the artwork had some slight changes done by Oscar Souto at skardesign. As for Stress, the second album, he keeps all the authenticity of the time.

Anonymus, 3 Inches of Blood, Blinded By Faith (Galy Records), Martyr (Galy Records) and The End have been nominated in the "Favorite Metal Artist/Group Or Duo Of The Year" category at the 2008 Indie Awards, set to take place on Saturday, March 8 at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel - Canadian Room in Toronto.

The Indies celebrate the best in independent music. Nominees are selected by committees of industry professionals from all areas of the music scene and winners will be decided by a combination of public and industry voting. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite independent artists, beginning Tuesday, February 5, by visiting www.cmw.net.

French Tour and new video

French Tour
Anonymus kicks off its tour of France September 28 with the Paris hardcore group, L'Esprit du Clan. We will also be sharing the stage with the American group, Pro-Pain, three times during the tour.   We will be visiting 7 cities of the Hexagon including   Paris, Bordeaux and Lyon. For more information, go to the Concerts section of our website. As of September 10, 2007, our current album, "Chapter Chaos Begins", is now distributed and available everywhere in France. The new video for the track "Terremoto" will be released soon. The video will be shot September 22 and 23. "Terremoto" means earthquake in Spanish, so get ready for it to rock hard. Like   "Suffer the consequences", the video will be directed by Mathieu Charest.

We are now back from our three week Canadian tour that took us from the Pacific to the Atlantic. What can we say? It was fantastic! Yes, it was a lot of driving, of flu, of partying, of fast food and little sleep...but the shows were superb and the audience reaction was phenomenal! And our road companions? The members of Unexpect quickly - very quickly - became good friends and the memories of this shared trip will last forever. Thanks to the show promoters, the audiences and everyone involved in make this tour a total success.

Anonymus celebrates its 18th anniversary by announcing the addition of its new guitarist. After many months of searching, it is the excellent Jef Fortin who takes on the task of the six sting. "We have played over 40 shows together and it was on the way back from Quebec on December 24, 2006 that I realized that I really wanted to stay with the group. I was just having too much fun to give it all up", states the new member. Araya says that his new road "partner" gives it all for the Rock! He brings new influences and a breath of fresh air to the band. "Jef has already been touring with us for 5 years, he is already part of the family."
